Evonne Wareham

Evonne is an award winning author of romantic suspense – more crime and dead bodies than your regular romance. She likes to set her books in her native Wales, or for a touch of glamorous escapism, in favourite holiday destinations in Europe. Born and brought up in Barry, after a career in local government in London she is now back, living by the sea on Barry Island. She is a Doctor of Philosophy and an historian. As well as her membership of Crime Cymru she is a member of the Crime Writers’ Association and the Romantic Novelists’ Association. A Villa in Portofino, the third book in her ‘Riviera’ series of escapist romantic suspense novels was a finalist in the RNA Jackie Collins Romantic Thriller Award 2022
