And the events just keep coming – Gŵyl CRIME CYMRU digital festival!

We’re so excited to reveal the programme for the Virtual CRIME CYMRU Digidol Festival!

The Gŵyl CRIME CYMRU digital festival will run from 26 April to 3 May 2021 and will feature Welsh and international writers, including Lee and Andrew Child, Mari Hannah, Peter James, Clare Mackintosh, Abir Mukherjee, Matthew Hall, Elly Griffiths and Vaseem Khan.

To whet your appetite, these are just the opening events in the fabulous programme we’ve got lined up for this year’s digital festival. And don’t forget – all tickets for this year’s festival are online and free.


On Friday 30th April, at 8pm, join Crime Cymru festival organiser Nellie Williams as she is joined by writer Matthew Hall and actor Aneirin Hughes, as they discuss Keeping Faith, alongside Series 3 of this immensely popular series, which is airing now on TV.

On Saturday 1st May, at 1pm, Crime Cymru Founder member Kath Stansfield is joined by two of the Historical Crime Fiction genres greatest exponents, S G MacLean and Elly Griffiths.

On Saturday 1st May, at 7pm, we have one of the highlights of the festival. Join Crime Cymru Co-Chair Matt Johnson as Lee and Andrew Child join the festival from their homes in the United States. This may prove to be a fascinating opportunity to learn about the transition process that will soon see Andrew Child take on the Jack Reacher mantle.
