Gŵyl CRIME CYMRU digital festival STARTS TOMORROW!!

We’re so excited to reveal the programme for the Virtual CRIME CYMRU Digidol Festival!

The Gŵyl CRIME CYMRU digital festival will run from 26 April to 3 May 2021 and will feature Welsh and international writers, including Lee and Andrew Child, Mari Hannah, Peter James, Clare Mackintosh, Abir Mukherjee, Matthew Hall, Elly Griffiths and Vaseem Khan.

To whet your appetite, these are just the opening events in the fabulous programme we’ve got lined up for this year’s digital festival. And don’t forget – all tickets for this year’s festival are online and free.


On Sunday 2nd May, at 4pm, join legendary interviewer and Newcastle Noir organiser, Dr Jacky Collins as she chats to CWA Dagger shortlisted welsh author Alis Hawkins and international best-selling author Yrsa Sigurðardóttir from Iceland.

On Sunday 2st May, at 7pm, join Crime Cymru associate member, Amy Williams as she talks to Clare Mackintosh and B E (Bev) Jones, two authors from Wales who are are the very top of their game.

On Monday 3rd May, at 1pm, Crime Cymru member, Thorne Moore, is joined by Sarah Ward and E S Thomson, two very popular crime fiction authors to discuss – amongst other things – stretching the imagination within the crime genre.

On Monday 3rd May, at 7pm, Crime Cymru co-founder Alis Hawkins in conversation with  M W  Craven author of the bestselling Washington Poe & Tilly Bradshaw series and Imran Mahmood whose first novel ‘You Don’t Know Me’ took the crime fiction world  by storm last year and whose next, ‘I Know What I Saw’ is published in June.
